Volunteers... without you, this will not work.

We need volunteers in the following areas:

 

Registration - We need 6 people at the start/finish to process race registrations. This would include looking up racer's names, marking them present, giving them their bib, tags and shirts. Also, handing out water prior to start and snacks and water after finish.

 

Equipment and timers at Race Transitions (RT): We need 14 people to handle equipment and 4 people as leg timers to time the racers as they enter the RT. Equipment handlers will insure racers place their equipment in correct spot and is properly tagged. At bike RT volunteers will validate helmets, at boat RT volunteers will validate PA permit and PFD. Volunteers at finish line will be lifting water filled kayaks out of the way... could be some heavy lifting here.

 

 

Aid Station/Tracking (AST): We need 12 people for ASTs. Eight people to hand out water and four people crossing racers off the list. We want to keep track of the racers location... We don’t want anyone stranded in need of help.
